Nestled in the rural mountain community of McCall,
Idaho, the Seven Devils Playwrights Conference has developed and presented
more than 100 new American plays since it’s inception in 2001, and has offered
playwriting workshops led by some of the country’s finest playwrights
including Samuel D. Hunter, Adam Rapp, Robert Schenkkan, Lee Blessing, Richard Dresser, Eugene
Lee, Sherry Kramer, Jeni Mahoney, Caridad Svich, John Olive and Eric Coble.
Each June theater artists from around the country come together at the Alpine Playhouse in McCall, Idaho for two weeks of rehearsals, readings and workshops that bring together a diverse group of professional and emerging artists, students and community members all dedicated to the development of new plays.
