CONFERENCE FAQS how DO I reserve a ticket?
You don't! Just show up at The Alpine Playhouse and pick your seat. We do recommend arriving 10-20 minutes early. The theater is handicapped accessible, but not all of the seating is, if you have specific seating needs, just email at: paula@idtheater.org. HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR THE WORKSHOP?
To sign up for the free playwriting workshop with Kathleen Cahill, send us an email to: paula@idtheater.org. Please include: your name and a number where you can be reached. what is insta-play?
Insta-play is an opportunity for ANYONE to write a play, rehearse it, and see it performed all in one fun filled evening! No experience is necessary to participate. Interested writers just arrive at the Alpine Playhouse a few minutes before 6pm with a pen and paper, or a computer (whichever you prefer) and are taken through the process of writing a short play on the spot. Then, after an hour of rehearsal, all plays are presented as free staged readings. Do I need to sign up for insta-play?
You don't need to... but it would be great if you did. Knowing how many people to expect helps to ensure that we have the actors and other support crew we need to make the magic happen! Just email: paula@idtheater.org Can I watch a rehearsal?
Yes! All our rehearsals are open to the public at all times, though we ask that visitors refrain from talking, taking photos or otherwise doing things that might disrupt the rehearsal process. A rehearsal schedule will be posted in the lobby of the Alpine Playhouse and on the door of the Conference office (next to Bistro 45.) Please be aware that schedules may shift from day-to-day, even hour-to-hour, depending on the needs of the play. where is the alpine playhouse?
The Alpine Playhouse is at 1210 Roosevelt Street in McCall, Idaho.
